Petrol Prices

It is still a concern, not only to general drivers but to the Driving Instructor business that fuel continues to rise at its current rate. The problem is that for most driving instructors, the recession has caused many of them to either go part time and find other means of income, or they have left the profession altogether and are now pursuing other careers.

With the price of fuel now having gone in a relatively short time, from £1 to almost £1.44 in some areas, that now means that each time we fill the fuel tank it cost about an extra ten to fifteen pounds. This cost is not able to be passed onto the customer and therefore, the brunt is borne by the driving instructor. This obviously is having an impact on his or her business.
